About Elijah Reed

Elijah's first exposure to filmmaking came in 2007 when he was six years old. When his dad got a camcorder for Christmas, Elijah promptly stole it and started making short films with anyone willing to be in front of the lens (mostly his little sister.)

Since then, storytelling has remained at the center of his work. He believes every successful film starts by answering two questions: Who is this story for, and why does it matter? Once those answers are clear, the creative process tends to fall into place.

Based in Portland, Elijah creates films for clients across the Willamette Valley. His background in ecology gives him a particular appreciation for stories that explore the connections between people, communities, and the living world around them.
